Baked Alaska


I attempted to make a baked alaska for dinner once. Well i wouldn't really call it a great success because i did not have cream of tartar and thus my egg whites were not glossy.. furthermore the recipe called for me to freeze the ice cream and the cake and i think that's not a good idea because the cake freezes and after baking the alaska for about 5 min ... the meringue was browned but the cake still frozen.. so guess if i try it again next time.. the sponge is going to be fresh...
